Considering the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays are a leading cause of premature aging, it’s highly beneficial to wear face sunscreen every single day. Among the top benefits: protecting your skin from said rays, the signs of aging, and preventing sunburn and reducing the risk of skin cancer. Applying skincare with SPF is the best way to not forget—the protection is built right in. Plus, a moisturizer with UV protection also delivers beneficial hydration.

Whether you use a traditional face sunscreen or skincare with SPF, it should be the last step in your skincare routine. If you apply sunscreen before your other skincare products, you may inadvertently rub it off or potentially alter its effectiveness.
